Brent A. Winans

Brent A. Winans, CPCU, ARM is an insurance and risk management expert specializing in insurance agents’ errors and omissions (E&O) claims and insurance coverage issues. With a career encompassing roles in insurance brokerage, corporate risk management, and consulting, he brings a multifaceted perspective to litigation work. His work centers on investigating insurance agent/broker duties, assessing liability in E&O claims, and evaluating whether industry standards were met.

Mr. Winans has been retained in numerous expert witness and consulting engagements across fifteen states, involving insurance agents’ E&O claims and insurance coverage disputes. His Bachelor of Arts degree from Lincoln Christian University, along with his Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations, reinforce his ability to deliver objective, defensible analyses.
