Christopher R. Hanstad, P.E., CFM, MSCE is a civil engineering expert specializing in FEMA floodway violations and hydrologic and hydraulic analysis. With a career encompassing floodplain modeling, stormwater analysis, and flood loss avoidance studies, he brings a comprehensive engineering perspective to litigation work. His work centers on investigating FEMA floodway compliance, assessing stormwater management practices, and evaluating flood damage assessment models.

Mr. Hanstad has been retained in numerous expert witness and consulting engagements across Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and Wisconsin, involving FEMA floodway violations and floodplain modeling cases.
