Fred Lott

Fred Lott, AIA, ARA, CSI is an Expert Witness Architect specializing in construction defects, standard of care, and responsibility & compliance litigation. With a career spanning architecture, construction management, and owner representation, he brings a multidisciplinary approach to his litigation work. His work centers on investigating construction defects, assessing compliance with industry standards, and evaluating whether contractual obligations have been met.

Mr. Lott has been retained in numerous expert witness and consulting engagements across the United States, involving complex construction and architectural disputes. His Bachelor of Architecture from Ball State University, along with certifications such as Multi-Protection Design from the Department of Defense and ICBO certifications, reinforce his ability to deliver objective, defensible analyses. He is regularly engaged by both plaintiff and defense counsel to provide clear, independent determinations of responsibility in disputes involving construction defects and compliance with architectural standards.
